The scale is a liar in the short term — water, salt, sleep and hormones swing it daily, and a stalled fortnight ends more honest attempts than anything else. Photos don't have moods. Motivaite takes four angles — front, left, right, back — in the same poses every time, and burns the date into the pixels before anything is stored.
