Motivaite is an AI-powered fitness coaching app: training plans, nutrition guidance, daily accountability, progress tracking and related features. It is provided by Motivaite, operating from the United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
The Coach is an AI, not a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian or human personal trainer. Everything it produces — plans, calorie estimates, form observations, posture reads, all of it — is general fitness guidance that can be wrong, and it is your responsibility to exercise judgement. Consult a professional before starting any programme if you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have any doubt at all. If anything hurts beyond normal effort, stop. Never ignore professional advice because of something the app said.
You must be 18 or over. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account. Give honest information — the coaching is only as good as the data.
Membership is £12.99/month or £119.99/year. New accounts get 30 days free: your card is captured at signup, nothing is charged during the trial, and cancelling before day 31 costs nothing. After that, billing recurs automatically until you cancel, which you can do any time from Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and we don't do refunds for partial periods. Prices may change with at least 30 days' email notice; changes never apply mid-paid-period.
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to breach security, scrape, resell, spam referral mechanics, upload unlawful content, or use the AI features to generate harm. We can suspend or terminate accounts that do, and technical limits (fair-usage caps on AI features) exist to keep the service fast and priced fairly for everyone.
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service — storing your logs, processing your photos and frames for the features you invoke, and so on, as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim nothing else.
Barcode scanning is powered by Open Food Facts, a free, crowd-sourced food database run by a French non-profit. Its product data is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0, the individual database contents under the Database Contents License, and product photographs under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0. We query it live and don't redistribute it as a database. Because it's contributed by volunteers reading labels, entries can be incomplete or wrong — check anything that looks off, and correct it on Open Food Facts so everyone benefits.
If you link a personal trainer, you authorise the data sharing described at the point of consent. Trainers are independent professionals, not our employees or agents — their coaching is between you and them.
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but it comes "as is": we can't promise uninterrupted availability or that AI output is accurate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). Otherwise, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You use fitness guidance at your own risk — see the medical section above, then read it again.
You can delete your account any time (Settings → Danger zone) — subscription cancelled, data erased. We can terminate for breach of these terms with notice where practicable. Sections that by nature survive (liability, your rights over past payments) survive.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though nothing removes protections you hold as a consumer. If we materially change these terms we'll email you first.
