Trainers
Most Motivaite members don't have a personal trainer, and the product is built to work entirely on its own. But if you do have one, an AI coach that contradicts them is worse than useless. So when you link a trainer with their code, The Coach stops being ours and becomes theirs.
Your trainer sets their tone and gives the coach the things they actually say — how they mark a good week, how they call out a missed one. Their own form cues appear on the lifts they taught you, in their words.
Their split, their progression model, their rep ranges, their deloads. Movements they never use are blocked outright, and their standard substitutions apply instead. It cannot write a plan they wouldn't.
Your trainer chooses what it must never advise on — injuries, technique, changes to your programme. On those it says plainly it's one for them and sends you to your next session, rather than guessing and undermining them.
After a session your trainer can leave a note — 'right shoulder tight, nothing overhead this week' — and the coach follows it as an instruction until it expires. It picks up where they left off.
The weekly review is drafted from your real numbers in your trainer's voice, they edit it, and it arrives from them. Not from us.
You see exactly what your trainer will and won't have access to before you link, and you can unlink whenever you want. Your private conversations with the coach and your progress photos stay yours.
