Meal plans built from real UK supermarket food — no quinoa-first ideology
Most meal plans fail at the supermarket. They're written by someone with a blender obsession and a spice cupboard you don't own, so by Wednesday you're improvising, and by Friday the plan is decoration.
Built from shelves, not ideology
Motivaite's meal planner generates a 7-day plan from food that exists in a normal UK supermarket run: eggs, oats, chicken thighs, mince, frozen veg, Greek yoghurt, the bread you already buy. Calories are set from your actual current weight and target — at a sustainable deficit, never a crash. Protein is distributed across the day because that's what keeps you full and keeps muscle on a cut. Dietary preferences (vegetarian, no fish, whatever you told it) are respected throughout.
Don't like the week you got? Regenerate the whole plan in a tap, or swap any meal for a healthier homemade version. It's yours, not scripture.
The food log that does the maths
The bigger feature is the log. Precision logging kills most diets — nobody weighs rice forever. So Motivaite's quick log takes plain English: type "chicken wrap, packet of squares and a flat white" and the AI estimates calories and macros, logs it, and moves on. Know your numbers? There's a manual entry for that too.
Imperfect logging done daily beats perfect logging abandoned in week two. The Coach's position is simple: it would rather have your honest rough numbers every day than your precise numbers twice.
Where it feeds back
Everything you log flows into the daily 7am orders ("two days of silence in the food log") and the weekly check-in ("food logged 6/7 days — win"). The meal plan is the map; the log is the evidence; the coach reads both.
ENOUGH READING.
